The National Schools Awards is organised by the Institute of School Business Leadership (ISBL) and the Schools & Academies Show and the ceremony included eight prestigious award categories, including:
- School Business Leader of the Year
- Leadership Team of the Year
- Income Innovator of the Year
- School of the Year – Sponsored by LinkyThinks
- School Infrastructure Innovation of the Year
- MAT of the Year – Sponsored by Renaissance Learning
- Governor of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
After two years of lockdowns and restrictions, Schools and the wider education sector have had to adapt to a new way of working whilst maintaining an excellent service for pupils and as such, the awards aim to recognise the unbelievable effort made by individuals as well as Schools and MATs who have continued to go above and beyond for their staff and pupils.
The evening took place at the iconic House of Lords in central London and was sponsored by LinkyThinks and Renaissance Learning. We were delighted to have such an amazing venue and supportive sponsors to celebrate exceptional individuals and organisations within education which included the eventual winners:
- Alison Moon, Veritas Multi-Academy Trust – School Business Leader of the Year
- Berkhamsted Schools Group – Leadership Team of the Year
- Highfurlong School – School of the Year
- Dave Scott, Northern Education Trust – School Infrastructure Innovation of the Year
- Chris Willis, GFM Education – Income Innovator of the Year
- Wellspring Academy Trust – MAT of the Year
