SAASHOW Exhibitor: How The Phoenix Project Supports Students Beyond the Classroom

Written by Schools and Academies Show | Mar 18, 2026 9:09:20 AM

At The Phoenix Project, we specialise in providing online alternative education options that deliver meaningful outcomes for students experiencing EBSA, long term school absence or risk of permanent exclusion.

We understand that one size doesn’t fit all young people when it comes to education and we know there are many barriers that a young person can face that makes learning in a busy classroom, or attending a large school a daunting and difficult experience.

Through our online programmes, we work to support successful reintegration into face to face settings by combining personalised mentoring, emotional support, and engaging lessons in core subjects.

We have successfully helped 76% of students return to school, 100% of students avoid permanent exclusion and have an average attendance improvement of 52% for students enrolled with The Phoenix Project.

All of our teaching staff hold QTS and enhanced DBS certificates and we have a range of both secondary and primary trained teachers, allowing us to support students at different stages of learning.

This is what some of our existing Schools have to say about working with us:

“We have worked with The Phoenix Project this year and it has had a really positive impact on the students who have been supported. The staff are highly trained and skilled in dealing with pupils with a range of social, emotional and academic barriers and their personalised approach has enabled our students to continue with their learning. We are looking forward to developing our partnership in the next academic year.”

"Phoenix has been great by helping us offer an education to our young people who struggle to attend school. Being able to offer this as an alternative is great for our families."

We are looking forward to exhibiting at the Schools & Academies Show at London Excel on 7th May.

If you are attending, please do come by and say hello as we’d love to tell you more about The Phoenix Project Online Learning and how we can help your school.
