# How to Save Energy in Schools: Department for Education Video Session

We were proud to present this SAAS On Demand recording from our recent show in London. 

The ongoing energy crisis has had a substantial effect on the education sector, where skyrocketing price increases have meant that schools are using more of there budgets to tackle energy costs.

 

In this session our expert speaker, Hershil Patel, Head of Energy, Environment and Engineering from the Department for Education discusses the ways that schools can manage, reduce and measure energy consumption. 

 

**This session will focus on the following key areas:**

 

- Establishing an energy efficient learning environment
- Alternative measures sources of energy
- Reducing energy waste in schools
