Teachers - The Most Valuable Resource in the Classroom

At Commercial Services Group, we are dedicated to working alongside professionals in education to build practical resources that deliver real value. While we’re proud to provide thousands of products and a wide range of services to help create the ideal learning environment, we know that the real strength of any education setting lies in its people – the teachers, support staff and leaders who make learning happen every day. That’s why so much of what we do is designed to support them – helping to ease pressures, free up time and give education settings the tools they need to thrive.

We are currently conducting research to uncover the most pressing challenge of all, faced by the education sector today. As a result of our nationwide survey, we aim to capture the views of CEOs, Directors and Heads of Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) and Local Authority maintained schools across England. In the coming year, we will collaborate with leaders to address these challenges, provide effective solutions and shed light on these topics as a part of our Leaders’ Perspectives: The Road Ahead programme.

Whether it’s Ofsted inspections, teacher retention, financial planning or parent complaints, leaders are facing many challenges while providing enriching learning experiences for our children. As headline sponsor of the SAAShow, our keynote is dedicated to practical strategies to help staff manage wellbeing while maintaining a positive culture. As one of the top speakers in the UK, Suzie Lavington from Art of the Brilliance will help you raise the bar from surviving to thriving.

Thrive, Not Just Survive

This session takes a practical look at how small, everyday actions can make a big difference – helping leaders manage stress and protect wellbeing while nurturing a positive culture. With so many in the education profession facing increased pressure and demands, it’s a chance to reflect on what’s possible, even in challenging circumstances.

Hosted on the Main Stage from 10:00am to 10:20am, the session will be introduced by Matt Johnson, Group CEO of Commercial Services Group.

  • Discover small changes that create big impact for wellbeing and workload.
  • Put ideas into action, find out what actually works in school improvement, professional development and how to foster a thriving environment.
  • Walk away with fresh ideas that can be implemented straight away in your teaching environment.

As our research draws to a close and we publish our findings at the upcoming SAAS event, one thing is certain, the wellbeing of staff in the education sector is a top priority. Visit our stand (G15) and discover tailored solutions to support school leaders.
